Ouroboros

I just finished painting this mythological beastie on my wall. He's about four feet in diameter and symbolizes "the eternal unity of all things" and the cyclical nature of life.

Serpents don't have forelimbs. He should feel lucky to have those two useless vestigial legs at all.

serpents don't have hindlimbs, either. if he's special enough to get a freaking crown, he deserves to have a full set of locomotive appendages.

That may well be, but you are forgetting how inappropriate it is to:

a) apply logic and real-life anatomy to mythological animals

b) trash stranger's art to their faces
