Lazy Sunday
When your favorite cultural achievements were made in the early twentieth century, and you're friends with someone who's enamored with the Baroque period, odd associations emerge in your conversations about pop culture. Placido Domingo came up in the conversation and we realized that his name essentially means "lazy Sunday," just like that SNL sketch from a couple of years ago in which they rapped about going to see The Chronicles of Narnia.And they say classical music has no application in the media-saturated lives of us kids.
